Ashville is a village in Pickaway County in Ohio , United States . At the 2000 census , the place had 3,174 inhabitants.
The Ashville Small Town Museum claims to have America's oldest working traffic light. This regulated traffic in downtown Ashville until the 1970s and was designed by Teddy Boor.
Ashville is the birthplace of one of the most recognizable actors in the history of the porn industry, John Curtis Holmes . Holmes was born John Curtis Estes, but his mother changed his last name to Holmes when she remarried.
