The Asia Cup 2010 was the 10th edition of the cricket competition for Asian national teams, which is held in ODI format . In the final, India beat Sri Lanka with 81 runs.

The participants were host Sri Lanka, the remaining three nations with test status .

format

In a group stage, each team played against each other. The winner of a game got 4 points, for a tie or no result there are 2 points. If the winning team's run rate exceeded 1.25 times that of the losing team, they received a bonus point. The two group winners then play the tournament winner in the final.
