Asker Fotball is a football club from the Norwegian municipality of Asker in Viken , it is the football department of the Asker SK sports club . The club plays its home games in the 2000-seat Føyka Stadium . The club colors are black and white.

history

The club, founded in 1889, is best known for its successful women's football department Asker FK . The first women's team, which disbanded due to economic problems in 2009 and joined Stabæk Fotball , has been Norwegian champion 6 times and cup winner 5 times in its history. She made history in the 1998 season by winning all of her season games.

The men's team became champions of the third Norwegian league in 2010 and thus played in the second-rate Adeccoligaen in the 2011 season , but rose to the Oddsenligaen at the end of the season .
