Associated Cement Companies, Ltd. ( ACC ) is a construction materials manufacturer from India with headquarters in Mumbai .
ACC was founded in 1936. With a production of 18 million tons of cement, the company describes itself as the largest cement manufacturer in India, currently employs around 9,000 people and in 2013 achieved an annual turnover of around 1.4 billion euros.
The company was taken over in 2004 by the Swiss company Holcim . On September 1, 2006, the company name (company) was changed from The Associated Cement Companies Limited to " ACC Limited".
