Astragalus idaeus is a plant from the family of legumes (Fabaceae).

features

Astragalus idaeus is a perennial rosette hemicryptophyte that reaches a height of 2 to 4 centimeters. Most hair is boat-shaped. The leaves are 10 to 30 millimeters in size. The 13 to 21 feathers are densely hairy with curved, upright hairs. The grape is spherical and 25 to 30 millimeters thick. The calyx is densely hairy and about 7 millimeters in size. Its teeth are half the length of the tube. The crown is yellow. The flag is about 15 millimeters tall.

The flowering time is in May and possibly also in June.

Occurrence

The species is only known from 2 finds from the 19th century, where it was found on Crete in hedgehog cushion heaths in the Ida and Dikti mountains .
