At Madison Square Garden is a live music album by Johnny Cash that was recorded on December 5, 1969 in Madison Square Garden , New York City , but was not released until August 27, 2002.
In addition to Cash's backing band Tennessee Three and his brother Tommy Cash , the Carter Family , Carl Perkins and the Statler Brothers again appeared as guest musicians, as they did on Cash's prison albums At Folsom Prison and At San Quentin . Cash's wife June Carter Cash was absent from the concert because she was pregnant.
