Ata Kandó
Ata Kandó (born on 17th September 1913 in Budapest as Etelka Görög , died on 14. September 2017 in the Netherlands ) was a Dutch photographer of Hungarian descent. She photographed children, fashion, refugees, the indigenous population of the Amazon region and Peruvian whalers. She published in National Geographic and received several awards. In 2017, the Dutch Photo Museum in Rotterdam honored her with the retrospective Ata Kandó / I Shall Use My Time .
