Studio pavilion Otto Jantzen
The studio pavilion that the “Privatus” Otto Jantzen had built is a typical building in the transition from historicism to art nouveau . It is located in Ledenweg 31 in Radebeul , Saxony , in the Niederlößnitz district .
description
The “Atelier Pavilion” at the back of the property, which is under monument protection , was designed in 1905 by the Radebeul architect Johannes Heinsius .
The single-storey, baroque plastered building has a suggested low tiled mansard roof with a roof platform as a wood-cement roof . The eaves cornice is curved, caused by the large arched windows that protrude over the eaves into the roof . The door, on the other hand, is rectangular, it sits within pilaster walls and remains under the eaves . The pilaster structure of the building has flower capitals in Art Nouveau forms .
