Atitech SpA is an Italian provider of so-called MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) services , i.e. maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft. The company is based at Naples Airport . It was created in 1989 from the technical department of the Italian domestic airline and Alitalia subsidiary Aero Trasporti Italiani , or ATI for short. Today it is 60 percent owned by the Meridie investment fund, 25 percent by the aerospace and defense company Leonardo and 15 percent by Alitalia.

Atitech offers MRO services for the aircraft types Airbus A320 , Airbus A330 , Boeing 737 , Boeing 767 , McDonnell Douglas MD-80 , ATR 42/72 and Embraer E175 / 190 , as well as cabin conversions and aircraft painting .

The subsidiary Atitech Manufacturing took over the Leonardo location in the northern area of Naples Airport in 2015. Airplanes are converted there and custom-made products are made. Leonardo only produces aircraft components in the Naples area in Pomigliano d'Arco and Nola .

At the end of 2015, Atitech submitted an offer to take over facilities from the former Alitalia Maintenance Systems (AMS) in Rome-Fiumicino . Atitech is also interested in the Leonardo facilities at Venice Tessera Airport .
