The results in the first half of the Beko Basketball Bundesliga 2015/16 were decisive for qualifying for this competition . As in the previous year, a cup table was set up based on the results of the first half of the Bundesliga, in which the games of the host of the Final Fours were not taken into account. In addition to the automatically qualified host, the six best-placed teams in this cup table are also qualified. The pairings were determined by lottery, which also decided on the home right in the qualifying round. The winner or advancement in the competition was determined in the knockout system within a regular basketball game.

Event

The Bayern Munich qualified automatically as host to the Final Four. The three other places for the final tournament were played on January 23 and 24, 2016. Defending champion (TV) EWE Baskets Oldenburg was able to qualify again for the competition, but was eliminated in the quarter-finals before reaching the TOP FOUR.

The Final Four final tournament, called TOP FOUR , took place on February 21 and 22, 2016 in the Audi Dome in Munich .
