Hapoʿel Holon ( Hebrew הַפּוֹעֵל חוֹלוֹן ha-Pōʿel Chōlōn ) is an Israeli basketball club from Cholon . The club was Israeli champions in 2008 and cup winners in 2009.

history

The association was founded in 1947. He was a founding member of the Ligat ha-ʿAl and was runner-up in the first two seasons of this league.

In 2008, Hapoʿel Holon won the championship for the first time. In a very close final, the team around Moran Roth and Amit Tamir as well as the Americans Chester Simmons and PJ Tucker beat the series champions Maccabi Tel Aviv 73:72.

European competitions
