Atiye Deniz Yılmaz (born November 22, 1988 in Bremen ) is a German interpreter of Turkish pop music .

Life

Atiye Deniz's father is Turkish and her mother is from the Netherlands. When she was three she had dance lessons, when she was six she had piano lessons. She grew up in Bremen and lived after stays abroad. a. in Turkey, France and the USA, again in Bremen.

In 2007 she released her debut album Gözyaşlarım in Turkey. She sings on it in Turkish and English. The music video for their hit Don't think was viewed two million times on YouTube in a short space of time. She went on tour with Nazan Öncel . She was awarded the 2007 Newcomer of the Year award by the Turkish music video channel Kral TV .

After a series of major concerts in Turkey, Atiye Deniz had her first major appearance in Germany at the Festival of Cultures Melez 2007.

In 2009 her second album Atiye was released . The music video Muamma was released as the first track on the new album . The album also includes a duet Kal with Teoman .

In 2011 she released the third album Budur .

In July 2012, she appeared in the German television series Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten . There she sang at the wedding of Ayla ( Sıla Şahin ) & Philip ( Jörn Schlönvoigt ).
