Atli Gíslason

Atli Gíslason (born August 12, 1947 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic politician.

Since 2007 Atli has been a member of the Icelandic parliament Althing for the southern constituency . He belonged to the left-green movement . Since 2009 he has been chairman of the Committee on Fisheries and Agriculture . He left the left-green movement and sat as an independent in the Althing.

In the parliamentary elections in Iceland in 2013 , he ran unsuccessfully for the Regnboginn party together with Jón Bjarnason .
