Atte Korhonen (born April 19, 1997 in Sotkamo ) is a Finnish Nordic combined athlete .

Career

Korhonen completed his first competition in the Nordic Combined Continental Cup on February 14, 2015 in Ramsau . In a Gundersen competition on the normal hill with a subsequent cross-country skiing distance of ten kilometers, he achieved 53rd place. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2016 in Râșnov , Romania , he won the bronze medal in a team competition with Wille Karhumaa, Mikko Hulkko and Eero Hirvonen . On January 15, 2017, he scored 24th place for the first time in a competition as part of the Continental Cup in Ruka . At the Junior World Ski Championships in 2017 , he came eighth in one of the individual competitions and only just missed winning the bronze medal in fourth in the team with Karhumaa, Atte Kettunen and Arttu Mäkiaho . On March 4, 2018, he made his debut in the World Cup in Lahti and scored a World Cup point straight away as 30th.
