Attila Szalai (born January 20, 1998 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian football player . Since 2019 he has been playing for Apollon Limassol in the Cypriot first-class First Division .

Career

Szalai started his career at Gödi SE , after which he played for Vác Város LSE . In 2010 he moved to Vasas Budapest , from where he moved to Austria in January 2012 for AKA Rapid Vienna . In October 2015, Szalai played for the club's third division team for the first time. After three defenders were injured, he moved up to the professional squad in May 2016 and finally made his debut in the home game against SCR Altach in the Bundesliga.

After a total of 5 years in the service of the Viennese, he moved back home for the 2017/18 season , this time to the first division club Mezőkövesd-Zsóry SE .
