Auberge ( fr .: Restaurant) is a studio album by the English singer Chris Rea from 1991 and is one of his most famous albums. Just like the previous album The Road to Hell , Auberge was also able to occupy the top spot in the British charts , and Rea achieved this for the first time in Germany .
As singles were next to the eponymous theme song still Heaven and Looking for the Summer decoupled.
The album and the title track are mainly associated with the Caterham Super Seven , which Rea owned and called "Blue Seven". This car appeared on the album cover , drawn in oils by Alan Fearnley. The album contains some titles allusions to the car, just like in the music video for Auberge . In 2005 Rea sold his car at auction.
