The Audi automobile Werke GmbH Zwickau brought 1911 Audi type B as a successor to the Audi type A out and produced him to 1914 (according to other sources to 1917) in 360 copies.

The vehicle had a four-cylinder - IOE -Zweiblock- line engine fitted with 2.6 liter displacement front. It developed 28 hp at 1800 rpm. It drove the rear wheels via a four-speed countershaft transmission and a cardan shaft . The car had a ladder frame and two leaf-sprung rigid axles . It was available as a two- or four-seater touring car .

One of the cars won the Austrian Alpine Race in 1911.
