course

The Auenlaue rises east of Bad Jungbrunn in the municipality of Tristach on the valley floor of the Drautal. It initially runs along Lavanter Straße and then runs across a golf course in the municipality of Lavant. As a result, the stream flows north past the center of Lavant, where Haselbach and Auerlingbach join on the right. The further course is north of the districts of Wacht and Forach (industrial area) or south of the Drau, with Pernitzenbach, Tiefenbach and Frauenbach flowing into the Auenlaue on the right-hand side in this area. The Auenlaue finally flows into the Drau in the municipality of Nikolsdorf or west of the Nikolsdorf train station.
