August Angerer
August Angerer (born September 20, 1924 in Nuremberg ; † November 20, 2008 in Haar (near Munich) ) was a German lawyer.
Career
Angerer studied law and economics and a doctorate in 1951 from the Law Faculty of the University of Erlangen Dr. jur. He joined the Bavarian financial administration, then moved to the Federal Insurance Supervisory Office (BAV) as head of the accounting and auditing department . In 1971 he became its vice-president and later president. In 1989 he retired.
He was an honorary professor at the Technical University of Berlin .
