August Bloch
August Bloch (born July 29, 1876 in Dortmund , † 1949 in Münstereifel , Euskirchen district ) was a German landscape , portrait and still life painter from the Düsseldorf School .
Life
Bloch received his artistic training from Ludwig Mansz in Cologne and as a private student of Fritz Neuhaus and Ludwig Heupel-Siegen in Düsseldorf . Most recently he lived in Cologne and Münstereifel. He earned the reputation of an "Eifel painter".
