August Bostetter
August Bostetter (born April 28, 1850 in Bietlenheim , † April 20, 1922 in Brumath ) was a physician, mayor and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Bostetter attended grammar school in Strasbourg and studied medicine at the French University of Strasbourg (1869) and at the Kaiser Wilhelms University in Strasbourg until 1874. From 1874 he was a general practitioner in Brumath and cantonal doctor from 1877. Was mayor in Brumath he from 1891 until his death in 1922.
From 1893 to 1898 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Reichsland Elsaß-Lothringen 9 ( Strasbourg-Land ) and the National Liberal Party , whose faction he only joined as an intern in the Reichstag.
