August Düsterloh

August Düsterloh (born February 11, 1899 in Sprockhövel ; † March 16, 1977 there ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ) and a member of the Westphalian Provincial Parliament .

Career

After attending the secondary school in Hattingen with the qualification for upper secondary school , August Düsterloh was a volunteer from 1914 to 1918 , went to local government after the war and, before he was appointed mayor of Hattingen on January 4, 1933, was in the city administrations of Schwelm and Wuppertal - poor busy. On January 4, 1939 he was appointed acting mayor of the city of Wattenscheid . During the war , Düsterloh was temporarily entrusted with the administration of the city ​​of Krywy Rog in Ukraine . On April 9, 1945, he was dismissed from his office and fled from the invading Americans . In May 1945 he was interned in Recklinghausen and after his release he earned his living as a forest worker and carter. In the denazification process , he was classified in category III, which was later changed to category IV (follower) in the appeal process.

Düsterloh joined the NSDAP early on (member no. 49360) and was its local group leader in Barmen from 1927 to 1930. In 1930 he became a member of the SA , in which he reached the rank of SA standard leader (equivalent to the colonel in the Wehrmacht).
