August Hagen (politician)

August Hagen (born January 27, 1843 in Mittelinn ; † after 1912) was headmaster and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Hagen attended high school in Regensburg , the Agricultural Academy Weihenstephan and the University of Munich . Afterwards he was assistant and inspector at the Agricultural Academy Weihenstephan and agriculture teacher in Triesdorf . Subsequently he was director of the Bayreuth Agricultural School , member of the Bavarian Agriculture Council and the district committee, as well as first chairman of the district association of Upper Franconian fruit growing associations and substitute for the German Agriculture Council . He also wrote various articles on agricultural and scientific matters.

From July 1902 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Upper Franconia 2 ( Bayreuth , Wunsiedel , Berneck ) and the National Liberal Party .
