August Reiser (Manager)

August Reiser (born October 10, 1860 in Mülheim an der Ruhr , † July 23, 1932 ) was a German manager .

Life

August Reiser attended the secondary school in Mülheim and entered the banking business Gust after completing a banking apprenticeship. Hanau in Mülheim. At times he worked as the private secretary of Friedrich Alfred Krupp in Essen . From 1886 he was a bank director in smaller banks and branches of provincial and large banks. From 1911 he was a member of the board of the Rheinische Creditbank in Mannheim . In 1925 he retired. As a part-time job, Reiser was a lecturer for ten semesters at the commercial college in Mannheim, from which today's university emerged.

He was chairman of the supervisory board of Joseph Hoffmann & Söhne AG in Ludwigshafen am Rhein , presidential member of the Association of Southwest German Industrialists and member of the board of directors of the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce in Frankfurt am Main . At times he was the Turkish consul general.
