August Zoller

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

August Zoller (born August 18, 1804 in Deizisau , † August 20, 1856 in Stuttgart ) was a German translator, writer and journalist.

August Zoller was the son of the educator and linguist Karl August Christoph Friedrich Zoller . He was a participant in the Franckh-Koseritz conspiracy and published numerous translations in Franckh's publishing house , mainly from French, especially by Alexandre Dumas .

Due to the similarity of first names, father and son are confused in many reference works and publications.
