Auguste Henke

Auguste Henke , née Vietor (born July 22, 1867 in Bremen , † February 4, 1951 in Göttingen ), was a German housewife and politician ( DVP ).

Auguste Vietor married Friedrich Wilhelm Hinrich Karl Henke , who later became authorized signatory of the Delmenhorst wool combing company . From 1886 the family lived in East India for three years. After their return they lived in Bremen, where Auguste Henke became the director of the evangelical women's organization. In 1897 the family moved to Delmenhorst.

After Hinrich Gerdes' death she moved to the state parliament of the Free State of Oldenburg on February 10, 1921 . There she was a member of the Petitions Committee. In December 1922 she resigned from the state parliament because the family had moved back to Bremen. Heinrich Schwarzenberg replaced her in the state parliament .
