Augusto Vera
Augusto Vera (born May 4, 1813 in Amelia , Province of Terni , † July 13, 1885 in San Giorgio a Cremano , Province of Naples ) was an Italian philosopher. He mainly emerged as a translator and interpreter of the philosophy of Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel . By translating the three parts of the encyclopedia of the philosophical sciences - logic (1859), natural philosophy (1863-66), philosophy of mind (1867-69) - and the lectures on the philosophy of religion (1876-78) he contributed significantly Hegel reception in France and Italy.
