Aulus Junius Pastor

Aulus Junius Pastor Marcus Caesennius Sospes was a Roman politician and senator .

Pastor came from an Italian family, later he was adopted into the Caesennii family. Pastor began his career in Rome as triumvir monetalis , as Sevir equitum Romanorum he was leader of a squadron of Roman knights . This was followed by the legacy in the legio XIII Gemina , the bursary , the tribunate , a legacy in the province of Asia and the praetur around 154 (?). Probably between 156 and 159 pastor was legate of legio XXII Primigenia and afterwards, probably 159 / 160–161 / 162, governor of the province of Belgica . In 163 he became a full consul . As curator operum locorumque publicorum , Pastor was then responsible for public building activities in Rome (165?).
