Aurel Eisenkolb

Aurel Eisenkolb (* 1849 in Lowrin , Austrian Empire , † 1918 in Lippa , Kingdom of Romania ) was a Romanian-German composer .

Life

After attending secondary school, the son of the composer Josef Eisenkolb studied at the teacher training institute in Werschetz from 1863 to 1866 and continued his training in Szeged and Budapest . He worked as a teacher in Orzydorf (1867–70), Tschanad (1870–75) and Lippa. In addition to church music works, including a Tantum ergo for choir, bass, tenor and organ, a Tantum ergo for mixed choir and the Mass Herr, before which worlds incline for male choir and organ, Eisenkolb composed the Aurelia Waltz for piano, among other things .
