Aurelija Misevičiūtė (born April 24, 1986 in Klaipėda , Soviet Union ) is a former Lithuanian tennis player .

Career

Misevičiūtė began tennis at the age of eight and, according to the ITF profile, preferred to play on clay and hard courts. She won a singles title at tournaments on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour .

At the French Open 2003 she reached the semi-finals in the junior doubles with her partner Andrea Sestini Hlaváčková .

At the Qatar TotalFinaElf Open 2003 she received a wildcard for the qualification , where she lost in the first round. At the Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem 2003 she reached the second round with a 3: 6, 6: 3, 6: 4 victory in the first round of qualifying against Evelyn Fauth , where she won against Rita Kuti-Kis with 1: 6 and 5: 7 lost.

In 2005 , 2006 , 2008 and 2011 she played a total of 14 times for the Lithuanian Fed Cup team and won 13 of her 21 matches, ten of them in singles and three in doubles.

College tennis

At the NCAA Division I Tennis Championships 2008 she reached the semi-finals, at the NCAA Division I Tennis Championships 2009 in women's singles.
