The Aurnupen ( Norwegian for rubble tip is) a mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land , which through a rocky terrain is marked on the northwest flank. It rises 1.5 km east of Flårjuven in Ahlmannryggen .
Norwegian cartographers named the mountain descriptively and mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements by the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952).
