Austrian Aviation Museum
The Austrian Aviation Museum is a private museum for aviation and is located in the municipality of Bad Vöslau in the district of Baden in the industrial area in Lower Austria .
history
The museum was founded in 1996 by four individuals as an association and was initially located on the grounds of the Schwechat brewery in a listed generator hall . In 2011 it was relocated to the Vöslau-Kottingbrunn airfield . Some of the exhibits come from the former visitor terrace at Schwechat Airport .
Exhibits
The museum has two flying exhibits whose restoration has been completed:
- Boeing Stearman OE-CBM
- Piper PA-18 Super Cub OE-CUB

- Boeing Stearman
- North American T-6
- Nord N 1002 Pingouin II, Messerschmitt Bf 108 built under license
