Autofabriken DKR AS was a Danish manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

SA Mathiesen had developed a prototype in 1950 , which was manufactured at Bohnstedt-Petersen AS in Copenhagen , but did not go into series production. Mathiesen revised this prototype together with F. Gabrielsen and SR Ohlsen. They founded the company in Roskilde in 1953 and started production. The brand name was DKR . The production plans were 400 copies a month. In 1954, production ended after a few dozen vehicles had been manufactured.

The only model was a four-door sedan with a plastic body . For driving a saw four-cylinder engine of Heinkel 1100 cc displacement and 45 hp power, the drive the front wheels.
