Forward was a Danish car brand.

Company history

The company based in Copenhagen one hand drove cars from Napier , on the other hand bikes of standard of Birmingham under the brand name forward . In 1911 the production of automobiles began. Production ended in 1912.

Initially, three-wheelers with rear single wheels were created . There was a choice of V2 engines with either 349 cm³ or 498 cm³ displacement , one of which had an output of 8 hp . The engine was mounted in the stern and connected to a planetary gear. The engine power was transmitted to the rear wheel via a chain. Overall, this three-wheeler was similar to the Crouch Carette from Crouch Cars .

A version with four wheels followed in 1912. One example of this model has been preserved.
