Hope Automobil Industri A / S was a Danish manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The Hadsund company started developing automobiles in 1982. The brand name was Hope . Production ended in 1987. A total of 30 vehicles were built.

The company made electric cars. The first prototype had a tubular frame chassis . Some parts such as the suspension, brakes and steering came from VW Polo . The electric motor developed 20 hp , which allowed a top speed of 80 km / h. The body offered space for four people.
The next prototype was 362 cm long, 163 cm wide and 140 cm high. He weighed 850 kg. The body , which was made of plastic , accounted for only 26 kg of this . An electric motor with initially 6 HP, later 10 HP power drove the front wheels. The range was given as 160 km.
