Autophonos
Autophonos ( ancient Greek Αὐτόφονος ) is a person from Greek mythology .
He appears in the Iliad in an internal narrative by Agamemnon , in which Agamemnon tells of disputes over the throne in Thebes . Autophonos is mentioned here as the father of Polyphontes , who supports Polynices in the fight against his brother Tydeus .
