Geez! is a German punk band that was founded in Cologne in 2004. Geez! play German punk in the 1980s and tour all over Europe.
history
Geez! was founded in 2004 by Norbert, Eisenhaken, Ullah and Nico. Nico left in 2005 and was replaced by Emma on bass. In 2012 Eisenhaken got out and from then on left the role of drummer to Dr. Dominik permanent salmon.
The band released a cassette with 4-track recordings in 2005, which was recorded in the rehearsal room at the time in Katharinengraben. In 2006 the second demo tape followed, which was produced with the befriended band tod from Düsseldorf and on which both bands share a page.
In 2010 the debut album There's No Freedom, There's only Shit , which was recorded in the Chaos AD Studio by Tom Kornis, followed. In 2012 Auweia! a song for 15 years of anti-social tribute sampler, which was released for the 15th anniversary of the band Pestpocken .
In 2013, the Werner Wiese Studios recorded a contribution for the birthday single of the Plastic Bombs , on which the bands Modern Pets , Oipolloi , Eisenpimmel and Sniffing Glue were also represented, as well as three new songs of their own and a cover by the Italian band Gas- Attack , which were released on 2 split singles with the bands Placebotox from Utrecht and Gas-Attack from Rome .
Geez! are on the soundtrack for Chaostage - We are Punks by Tarek Ehlail with the songs Machine Gun and Punk, aller! represented. In machine gun is a cover of the group 7. Laengengrad East from Saarbruecken, a youth band from director Tarek Ehlail; Punk everyone! has been changed with technical sophistication and can be found here in a different version than usual.
