Avanzino Nucci
Avanzino Nucci (* approx. 1552 in Gubbio ; † 1629 in Rome ) was an Italian painter.
biography
As a student and collaborator of Niccolò Circignani , he and many of his colleagues took part in some of the great decorations in Rome promoted by Pope Sixtus V. After a stay in Naples between 1595 and 1598, during which he worked in the visiting room of the Certosa di San Martino , he worked mainly in Rome, but also in Umbria and the Marche , in particular in Gualdo Tadino , Perugia , Spoleto , Fabriano , Montebaroccio and Fermo . The collaboration with Cristoforo Roncalli , Baldassare Croce and Cavalier d'Arpino led to the best results of Nucci around 1600, who came up with a decent variant of pious painting, modest intonation and communicative planning.
