Averdunkshof (Neukirchen-Vluyn)
The Averdunkshof is an old, listed farm complex in the extreme northwest of the Neukirchen district in Neukirchen-Vluyn , Wesel district , North Rhine-Westphalia . It was first mentioned in 1290. When Heinrich Averdunk's family moved in in 1848, it became the family's ancestral home.
In the map of the cadastral geometer M. Buyx, Neukirchen-Vluyn before 1800 , the farm is also mentioned under the name Overdunk with the year 1275. Overdunk as the original farm name indicates the location of the farm: "above the Donk ".
Today the Averdunkshof is used as a restaurant . It is also registered under the number 65 as an architectural monument in the list of monuments of the city of Neukirchen-Vluyn .
