Avia M137
The Avia M137 , also M 137 or M-137 , is a Czechoslovak aircraft engine . It was developed around the end of the 1960s from the M337 from 1959 for use in school , sports and touring aircraft from the manufacturer Zlín . The first series version had an output of 160 hp (118 kW).
construction
The M137 is a suspended, air-cooled six - cylinder four-stroke in - line engine with an electric starter . It has a low-pressure injection pump , which together with the equally designed for this purpose oil system aerobatics including prolonged inverted flight possible. The fuel is injected upstream of the suction valve.
