In 1911 the company also opened a branch in Berlin-Johannisthal and in 1914 founded the subsidiary Austrian Aviation in Austria-Hungary . In 1914 production was relocated to Freiburg im Breisgau and from 1916 to Leipzig - Heiterblick . Aviatik also set up a branch at Leipzig-Mockau Airport .
