Avraham Katz-Oz
Avraham Katz-Oz ( Hebrew אברהם כ"ץ-עוז; * December 7, 1934 in Tel Aviv ) is an Israeli former politician.
Life
He graduated from the Pardes Channa agricultural school ( Hebrew בית הספר התיכון החקלאי פרדס חנה) from. Katz-Oz then studied at the Faculty of Agriculture in Rechovot and at the Faculty of Genetics in Jerusalem. He worked in the administration of Nachal Oz ( Hebrew נַחַ"ל עֹז) at Sderot and Netiwot . Afterwards he was secretary of the kibbutz movement Ichud HaKvuzot weHaKibbutzim ( Hebrew איחוד הקבוצות והקיבוצים, lit. Union of Kvuzot and Kibbutzim ) from 1969 to 1973. He was a member of the Maʿarach Knesset from 1977 to 1996. As a member of this group, he was Minister of Agriculture from December 22, 1988 to March 15, 1990.
