Axel Gärtner (born June 27, 1956 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German actor .

Life

He grew up in Berlin . After completing the 10th grade, he first completed an apprenticeship as a skilled worker for wood technology and then completed an apprenticeship as a concrete worker. Even before his studies, during and afterwards, he played in various film productions. From 1977 to 1981 Axel Gärtner studied acting at the Leipzig Theater Academy , which at that time was called "Hans Otto". Since then he has been working as an actor in Halle (Saale), where he appeared in around 200 roles in 5000 performances. His place of work, the theater "Junge Garde", was first renamed " Thalia Theater (Halle) " and later assigned to "Theater, Oper und Orchester GmbH Halle".
