The Japanese Oshare Kei band (subspecies of visual kei ) ayabie ( Japanese 彩 冷 え る or ア ヤ ビ エ , Ayabie , dt. Cold color ) was founded in May 2004 by Ryōhei, Takehito and Intetsu. Singer Aoi was added as the fourth member.

You were originally under contract with Speed ​​Disk (Japan). With the release of their single Aitakute , Ayabie changed their label and are currently under contract with the major label Tokuma Japan Communication . In Europe their releases are distributed by CLJ . Your outfit, corresponding to the visual style, is made by ID Japan . and designed by H.Naoto .

Ayabie's music contains elements of pop , rock , but also punk .

biography

On May 8, 2004 Ayabie had their first one-man concert in the Takadanobaba AREA . Her first and second single Heien No Ato, Ame and Romancer were released in the same month, limited to 1000 copies. According to Ryōhei, the latter is still the song the band prefers to play live.

After further concerts they toured together with Alice Nine in the summer of the same year , followed by the next maxi single Chōsoi sō yori san rin , which made it to 7th place on the Oricon Indie Charts. Ayabie's first album was released in March 2005 under the name Ayabie Sokukan Ongenshū . Further publications followed, including her first DVD Daikei / Misery in the dusk .

Until 2005 the band had no permanent drummer and made do with different session drummers. It started with ex- 839 Tomoyo, who got out in early 2005. This was followed by ex- Fatima Towa, who was replaced by Kenzo after a short time. This then became a permanent part of the band in early 2006.

In June 2006 the band toured Europe for the first time. Band leader and lead guitarist Ryōhei left the band in August 2006, which shocked many fans. As a new guitarist ex- Soroban Yumehito became a permanent member in October 2006. Since then he has also been largely responsible for composing the songs.

In 2007 and 2008 Ayabie played again in Europe, this time in Spain and Finland .

After switching to the major label Tokuma Japan Communication in early 2009 , they announced in August 2010 that singer Aoi was the only member of the band, as the remaining 4 members (Yumehito, Takehito, Intetsu, and Kenzo) had left the band. They founded a band of the same name, but their name is written in Latin letters. Aoi stated that the band is officially on hiatus which will begin at the end of 2010 and that he hopes that it will reflect the whole band into a merger.

Members

  • Aoi ( 葵 , born April 1, 1980) was the singer of the band. Before joining Ayabie, he sang with Cynical Biscuit and Mask . He is responsible for creating the “ Para Para ” dance steps and composes some songs. In 2010 he is also responsible for the design and composition of the promotional song in a collaboration with the jeweler GemCEREY. In August 2010 the departure of the other 4 members was announced because, unlike the rest of the band, he felt obliged to stay with the major label Tokuma Japan , he is the only member of the band so far, but hopes that he will the band will reunite.

  • Ryōhei ( 猟 兵 , born March 27, 1983) was the band leader and guitarist, as well as responsible for most of the songs. He has the kawaii image in the band and said of himself that he was like in a cartoon, that there is always a hero who transforms. He is just the hero who turns into a girl. He too came from the band Hinawana . After leaving Ayabie, he founded the band Megamasso in October 2006 .
  • Yumehito ( 夢 人 , September 22, 1985) is the guitarist and the newest member of the band. It came from Soroban . Yumehito has been responsible for much of the lyrics since he joined the band. 2010 plays a first role in Namikawa Daisuke's film "Wonderful World".
  • Takehito ( タ ケ ヒ ト , * August 24th) is a guitarist and has switched from the band Hinawana to Ayabie.
  • Intetsu ( イ ン テ ツ , * February 1) was originally with Hinawana . He's the band's bass player.
  • Kenzo ( ケ ン ゾ , born December 9 in Tokyo ) is the band's drummer. He became an official member in 2005, after he took over the post after Tomoyo (2004-2005), Towa (2005) and Manabu.
