Aymon de Cruseilles

Aymon de Cruseilles , Aymon de Menthonay († November 26, 1275 ) was bishop of Geneva from 1268 to 1275 .

Life

Aymon was first mentioned in 1248 and is believed to come from the Savoyard Cruseilles . He was prior of the Dominicans in Lausanne from 1251 to 1258 and took part in the general chapter in Milan . Aymon worked as an adviser to Count Peter I of Savoy from 1251 and is occupied as Bishop of Geneva from 1268. In 1275 he took the the inauguration Lausanne Cathedral by Pope Gregory X in part.
