Azet (born March 6, 1993 in Podujeva , Federal Republic of Yugoslavia ; real name Granit Musa ) is a German rapper of Kosovar-Albanian origin. He is part of the Dresden rap crew KMN Gang , which also includes rappers Nash , Zuna and Miami Yacine .

biography

Azet and his parents came to the Prohlis district of Dresden from Kosovo in 1994 . He met Ali in elementary school and founded the rap crew KMN with him in 2010 . At first, Azet was called Azphalt . Ali, now known as Nash , was then called Achillez . A short time later, Zuna also joined the crew. The trained restaurant specialist Azet was sentenced in October 2015 for drug trafficking and assault to two years and eight months in prison , the sentence began in November 2016.

At the end of December 2016, Azet reached the German single charts for the first time with the song Patte flows . With number 1 , a collaboration between Azet, Zuna and Noizy , the top 10 was reached in Germany for the first time. This single was awarded a gold record by the German Music Industry Association and is considered a commercial breakthrough for the KMN crew . In December 2017, Azet released the single Gjynah ( Albanian  for sad ). His debut album Fast Life was released on March 30, 2018 and reached the top position in the German , Austrian and Swiss album charts. On April 4, 2018 Azet was released from prison, previously he was a regular clearance .

In July 2020, he announced the release of the album Fast Life 2 .
