Bärbel Tewes-Heiseke

Bärbel Tewes-Heiseke (born Koch ; born April 14, 1940 in Liebenau , Nienburg district ) is a German politician (formerly SPD ) and was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from 1986 to 1994 .

Life

After elementary school in Wellie , Bärbel Tewes-Heiseke attended high school for girls at the Nienburger Hindenburg School, where he graduated from secondary school. She completed an apprenticeship in the hotel industry and as a foreign language correspondent . She acquired university admission through a second education path and studied at the University of Education in Göttingen . After the state examination in 1969, she worked as a teacher in Luthe (near Wunstorf ) and in Liebenau from 1970 to 1986 . From 1978 she worked as the principal of the Friedrich-Ebert-Grundschule in Nienburg until she was elected to the Lower Saxony state parliament in 1986. She joined the SPD in 1972. From 1974 she was a member of the council of the Samtgemeinde Liebenau and the council of the Fleckens Liebenau.

From June 21, 1986 to June 20, 1994 she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (11th and 12th electoral terms). From June 12, 1990 to June 20, 1994 she took over the deputy chairmanship of the SPD parliamentary group. In February 2014 she left the SPD after more than four decades.

She is married and has one child.
