Bålsta is a locality ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Uppsala län and the capital of the municipality of Håbo .
The settlement is located about 40 km northwest of Stockholm and 50 km south of Uppsala . Most of the approximately 13,000 inhabitants moved to the town after 1970. Many residents commute to work in the cities mentioned. Since 2001, Bålsta has been the terminus for a line on the Stockholm suburban train .
The artist and collector Lasse Åberg set up a museum about Disney characters in a barn .
