Leave Åberg
Lars "Lasse" Gunnar Åberg (born May 5, 1940 in Hofors ) is a Swedish actor , director , musician and artist . He was born in the small town of Hofors in the province of Gävleborgs län ( Gästrikland ) and grew up in Stockholm .
Åberg became known at the end of the 1960s when he appeared together with Ardy Strüwer in a sketch series on Swedish television SVT . In the 1970s he began his career as a director and actor. Åberg has produced several successful films in which he portrayed “typically Swedish” life in a humorous way. His films grossed over 300 million Swedish kronor in Sweden alone . He directed and wrote the screenplay in all of the films and was also the leading actor. Furthermore, Åberg made a name for himself as a collector of everything to do with Mickey Mouse . To this end, he opened a museum in a cowshed at Väppeby gård in Bålsta .
As a musician he has national successes with the Electric Banana Band . He also designed the pattern for the seats on the Stockholm subway .
