description

The house at Böckinger Straße 98 is a gable-independent house of the steam brickworks, which was built in 1904 according to plans by Emil Beutinger and Adolf Steiner .

The two-and-a-half-storey building with unplastered exposed framework in the staggered or protruding gable with its three three-room apartments served as a residential building for the employees of the Böckinger Dampfziegelei.

The structuring of the building with elaborate brick ornamentation, which is supposed to be reminiscent of the Böckingen brickworks , is remarkable .

history

In 1950 the building was owned by the representative Ernst Kleinhans. Besides him, five tenants were registered there. In 1961, apart from the owner Kleinhans, only two tenants lived there.
